Seeking understanding, they turn to logic to explain the spiritual. Having neither the spirit nor the heart of God, they spew speculation that further divides and dilutes truthful understanding.
Because the true and wholesome Word of God and Testimony of Jesus Christ is not popular, they create their own; saying “You shall not surely die, eat this, and you will be like God”. They feed their lies to the ignorant and take tithe from the poor.
Woe to those who would add to, or take from, the pure Word of truth. These have neither the spirit nor the heart of the Almighty.

The Bible is simple, yet deep. Because most believers don’t read the Bible, they are easily swayed from basic truth. It is your responsibility to seek and find; to prove and hold fast to the good.
The greatest difficulty for the sincere learner of the scriptures is to process what is junk. Today, Social Media serve a good example of what has happened to Christian doctrine. So many voices trying to get attention, they will say anything to be heard.
To get to a sure foundation in your faith, it’s more likely you need to start with demolition of extra-biblical theology. Tuning into preachers and books will not help you – get into the Bible and pray, seek God like your life depends on it. Did you know that when Paul was converted, he went away for fourteen years to get things sorted out? Basic Bible is your greatest strength. For all else, put on the gloves and hardhat, grab the sledgehammer and wrecking bar and toss the extra-biblical fluff into the dumpster.
When they say, “It means this or that.”, put up the caution flag and get to work to prove it. People have ideas and theories, and that’s okay for them to think so, but that does not make them biblical or true. Theologies are many. Doctrines and denominations, uncountable. Don’t get caught in the trap, and don’t get complacent.
The spirit of God is our teacher. Get deeper into the Word and filter through your pre-existing theological fluff and build your foundation on true Word alone.
